20000218_Judo seminar in Malta

    The Malta Judo Federation and Association Disciplines will be organising the fourth European Educational Seminar next July. The past three editions of this prestigious event ere all held in Ostia, Rome. Last year alone, the seminar attracted no fewer than 71 participants from more then 34 Euro nations and South Africa. 
    The Judo Federation has already started working on the organiastion of the event had will be discussing the issue with two consultants from the European Judo Union. 
    As a trial run for next summer's meting,  a youth training seminar was organised recently by the Judo Federation. Alfredo Monti, a former Italy national coach and Attilio Sacripanti, an international referee, gave a superlative demonstration to Maltese coached who showed great response to the seminar.
    Air Malta and St George's Park supported the Judo Federation During the youth training seminar. 
    Meanwhile , this weekend the federation will be holding the Maltacom Judo International Open at Corradino. Foreign participation will be hailing from the UK, Sicily, Germany and three Italian regions. The Maltacom Promotion Championships for juniors will be held next Sunday.
